What is an OpenClassrooms course, how to obtain a certificate and share it on Linkedin?

Educational program of our courses
Each course is created by an expert in their field, it is made up of one or more parts and can include texts, images (charts, illustrations) and videos.

Course filmed
The content of each course alternates between texts and videos. The video format makes the learning more efficient for students and our courses’ videos last 10 minutes maximum, with an average course duration of 3-4 minutes. The videos can be viewed at any time on the OpenClassrooms platform and can be downloaded in high definition as well.

Accessibility and flexibility
All our courses are available on the OpenClassrooms platform 365 days / year, 24 / 7, on all the learning materials (PC, Mac, tablet, mobile).
You can follow all our courses at any time during the year as well.

Average Duration
The learning duration depends on the working pace of the student. In general, a course represents 5 to 15 total hours of work, on average. The average duration of studies is indicated for each specific course. 

How to obtain a Certificate of Achievement?

In order to get a course Certificate of Achievement:

1. The student has to complete all the course’s chapters (when the student clicks on the button “I finished this chapter. Onto the next!“ at the bottom of the page, the chapter is then identified as a done chapter on the progress bar.)

2. The student has to pass the quiz of each part of the course. If he fails a quiz, he can repeat it as many times as needed. However, he will have to wait a minimum of 24 hours between each attempt.)

3. Afterwards, the student can access his dashboard, click on “Course certificates”, click on “See the certificate” of the course in question.

order to download it. If the first name, last name or date of birth was not correctly filled in, the student can edit his profile’s information.

The course certificate in PDF format includes: the first name of the student, last name, date of birth, the course name, the delivery date, the signature of the CoFounder of OpenClassrooms and of the course professor. 

The student can add the course certificates into his Linkedin profile.

Here are the following steps in order to share it: 
- Click on the button “Add to my linkedin profile”,
- A new tab will open guiding the student to Linkedin,
- Fill in the course information,
- Save changes.
